Ever since the popular show Gator Boys has been on air, many people ask us where they can see real, live alligators.
Head down to Fudpucker’s Gator Beach. Admission is free. If you want your experience to go a step further, you’re able to feed the alligators. Watch them enjoy a delicious dinner. And if you’re feeling really adventurous, you can have your picture taken with an alligator. Find out more at Fudpucker’s.
Come on and join the fun! Grab a bucket, flashlight and net. Head down to the beach and hunt for crabs. Summer guests caught twelve crabs in a matter of minutes!
If you’re driving down to Destin, don’t forget to stop by a Welcome Center and enjoy a free glass of Florida Orange Juice. This has become a tradition for many families who call one of our properties home for vacation.
Summer + Tuesday = Fireworks. Head over to The Village of Baytowne Wharf. There will be many activities that that will be sure to have your whole party smiling.
Around 8:30 find a spot on the lawn and be ready for the fireworks to start. The show starts at 9:00.
A word of advice – walk, no RUN to The Candy Maker for some authentic southern candy. Our favorite is the taffy, however there is plenty of chocolatey treats if chocolate is your weakness.
